對學生支援

學校本着關愛的精神,在新學年設新生適應週安排,幼兒班首兩天家長陪伴上課。高班學生會模擬升小一學校適應生活,並會安排前往小學參觀。此外,校方亦與社區機構合作,參與不同活動及參觀。本園為非華語學生安排課餘學習中文。同時,校方會探訪有需要家庭。

本校課餘時間亦會提供興趣活動(支持非華語學童學習活動、快樂小蜜蜂、黏土班、創藝美術班、芭蕾舞班和非洲鼓班)讓幼兒身心,得到全面均衡的發展。

 

Support to Students

We invite parents to accompany K1 students to attend classes on the first two days to ease the adaptation.  For K3 students, we provide imitation classes, arrange site visits for them to prepare the primary school life. We collaborate with community organizations to participate in different activities and visits, arrange after-school Chinese learning classes for non-Chinese speaking students, and provide home visits to the families in need.

Extra-curricular activities are provided after school (Support to Non-Chinese speaking children’s learning, Happy Bee, Clay class, Creative Art, Ballet class and Djembe). The activities allow children to acquire all areas of development.

對非華語學童的支援

  • 獲批支援非華語學童的資助:
  • 增聘教學人員/教學助理以支援非華語學童學習中文。
  • 安排翻譯/傳譯服務。
  • 鼓勵非華語家長義工參與以加強學校與家長之間的溝通。
  • 建構豐富學習中文的語言環境。
  • 建構共融校園以促進學生的融合。
  • 促進教師參加專業發展計劃,建立幫助非華語學童學習中文的策略。
  • 參加由教育局舉辦的校本專業支援計劃。

 

Support to non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students

  • Received Grant for Support to NCS Students:
  • Appoint additional teaching staff / teaching assistants to support NCS students learning Chinese.
  • Arrange interpretation/translation services.
  • Engage NCS parent volunteers to enhance communication between school and parents.
  • Create an enriched language environment for mastery of the Chinese language.
  • Create an inclusive learning environment to facilitate students’ integration environment.
  • Facilitate professional development for teachers to develop effective strategies to help NCS students learn Chinese.
  • Participate in school-based professional support programmes organized by EDB.
